Facing Off with Literacy ticket and event information

Facing off

Senator Jacques Demers is coming to London, Ontario!

On November 10, 2011, Literacy Link South Central will be hosting a community event at the London Convention Centre called Facing off with Literacy.

Our keynote speaker, Mr. Jacques Demers, will reach broad segments of the community as he speaks about his life in the world of hockey while he dealt with issues in functional literacy.

Literacy is often a stigmatized issue and having someone successful and well known will shed new light on the power of acknowledgement and self-improvement.

Join us for an unforgettable night that will encourage Londoners to think about their level of education and leave them inspired to make improvements in their own skills and lives.

For more information about the event or to purchase tickets, please contact Literacy Link South Central at (519) 681-7307 or click here.
