Six Nations Literacy Achievement Centre

The Six Nations Literacy Achievement Centre is a community-based agency that has provided service to the community of Six Nations for over 16 years. The centre provides instruction in basic math, English and computers for adults who need to increase their academic skills for entry into higher levels of education or to obtain employment.  Eligibility requirements are 16 years of age and older, and not attending any other educational institution.

Mission Statement:  to provide, through a non-profit organization, free tutoring in basic math and English, in a culturally sensitive manner.

One-to-one tutoring is provided. Participants must attend (two) 2-hour sessions per week.

Sessions run for a maximum of three months. A new contract can be negotiated, if needed.
