Fanshawe College - Academic Upgrading

Fanshawe College's Literacy and Basic Skills (LBS) and Academic & Career Entrance (ACE) programs supports adult learners on their educational journey to post-secondary studies, apprenticeship and employment. Classes are offered in both the day and evening, with learners working on an individualized learning plan in a mature environment, with access to academic, career and accessibility services.

The ACE Certificate is provincially recognized as an equivalent to Grade 12 for the purpose of admissions to all Ontario Colleges and also recognized by many employers.
