About Debera:
Debera joined Literacy Link South Central in the summer of 2024.
Debera is the past Executive Director of QUILL Learning Network. She has worked in the literacy field for 30 years, initially, as a practitioner in community-based programs in New Liskeard and then Timmins. She took on the role of Executive Director of Literacy Network Northeast in 2000 before moving to the QUILL Learning Network in 2006.
She moved into semi-retirement in 2021 and now uses her literacy experiences to support projects that enhance a field she is passionate about. She has taken the role of coordinating LLSC's Educational Interview initiatives across the province.
