Empathy through play

This is a subtitle for your new post

It can be difficult to train and help people practice 21st Century skills like communication, empathy, and failing without giving up. Literacy Link South Central has developed training material for adult literacy learners around several of those topics, and staff recently attended a hands-on workshop intended to help us take the next step.

Hosted by 21 Toys, Empathy Toy Training helps prepare workshop facilitators to use their custom tactile, wooden Empathy Toy set to discover the importance of clear communication and teamwork through play. It's an engaging experience - both fun and sometimes vulnerable - and a fabulous learning experience. We can't wait to decide how it's going to be used in our service area, both with staff groups and adult literacy learners!
